Meet You Once

This is just a song I wrote while watching this one scene in a movie. Pretty random if you ask me, but oh well. It might have some meaning to someone. You never know. I just recently found out that it has some meaning to me. So, here's my song:

I see the flashing lights.
I hear the cheering crowd.
I look everywhere,
But you're nowhere to be found.

I look to my left.
I look to my right.
I look straight ahead,
But you're not in my sight.

Then I look to the red carpet,
And I see you there
With such a smile on your face
Like you don't even care.

I try to reach out to you,
But I'm trampled by people.
I try to push my way through,
But it's just no use.

I see you walk away,
And my heart starts to break.
I wonder why this happens
Always to me.

Chorus
Is it just so wrong
To try to talk to you?
Is it just so wrong
To try to seek the truth?

The distance between us
Grows deeper and deeper so.
I try to reach out to you,
But I can't, no.

Is it just so wrong
To wanna meet you once?

I see you on the stage,
Performing like you do.
You look so happy
Doing what you do.

I clap and cheer
Like any other fan
Enjoying the performance,
Oh yes.

I wish I was down there
With you,
Just like any fan
Would want to.

When the music fades
And the show is over,
I wait in anticipation
For you to come over.

When you walk through that door,
The crowd starts to cheer,
And they all start to run to you,
Just like they do.

Chorus

I stand in the back,
Just watching the crowd go crazy,
And I wonder to myself
If I can even say a word.

Then you walk up to me
And ask for my name.
You sign something for me
With love and care.

I get a few pictures,
Just one or two.
Everything seems better
Just because of you.

And now I can finally say
That I met you.

Chorus

Someone tell me it's wrong.
Tell me it's bad.
Tell me I'm wasting my time
With such a thing.

Well, the distance between us
Is now so small,
And I just got
What I really wanted.

So, someone tell me
Is it wrong to wanna meet you once?

And there you go. My new song that I wrote in fifteen minutes. I don't know if it would be good with music or not, but it sounds good in my head. I hope you liked it.
